I am a caring and dedicated dentist, trying to help all my patients achieve the best dental care we can together.

I like to do this through patient-centred minimally invasive dentistry, which aims to be of the highest standard and also long lasting. This has resulted in many patients moving practices to keep treatment with me as I have move around Lincolnshire.

I grew up in Norfolk and then after reading Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University, joined the Royal Air Force where I flew Harrier and Tornado fast jet aircraft before becoming a flying instructor.

After completing my commission in the RAF, I studied Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute in the University of Leeds, which has a great focus on holistic patient care and also children’s dentistry.

Over the years I have gained experience, working in South Wales and various practices in Lincolnshire. I continue to increase my knowledge of dentistry with various postgraduate qualifications and courses, covering all skillsets but focussing on minimally aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry as that is my greatest interest. As part of that I have become a very active Invisalign provider and advocate.

I also am a fully qualified BioClear provider. There are only 900 dentists trained in the UK on the BioClear system and a smaller proportion of those dentists have completed all the courses (Levels 1-4 basic and advanced) in the international Learning Centre under a certified BioClear Instructor as I have. This allows me to place in a single visit Black Triangle Closures, Veneers and traditional Crown alternatives using the BioClear System.

The advantages of the BioClear system are they

• Are less destructive to the tooth than standard preparations for both decay and veneers, Crowns
• Have better gum health results than standard veneers, Crowns
• Are repairable in the dental surgery and lab Veneers, Crowns and Bridges are not
• Last as long as lab made Veneers, Crowns and Bridges
• Are as strong as lab made Emax Ceramic Veneers, Crowns and Bridges (300 MPa)

I have invested in my own equipment including an iTero 5D intraoral (in mouth) digital scanner that can be used to monitor tooth wear, show Invisalign treatment outcomes, remove the need for impressions in the mouth and can also help detect decay in teeth without the need for x-rays.
